Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about appointments, referrals, bulk billing and cardiac tests.
A valid referral is generally required to access Medicare benefits for specialist care. Contact the clinic before your appointment so the team can confirm current requirements.
Eligible Medicare services are bulk billed when Medicare requirements are met. Referral requirements and service-specific criteria may apply, so please confirm your circumstances with reception.
Bring your referral, Medicare card, medication list, relevant reports and any forms requested by the clinic. A concession card may also be helpful when applicable.
You can upload your referral by completing Form 2, the Appointment Request Form. Please attach a clear copy of your referral before submitting the form.
Appointment length varies by test and individual needs. Reception will provide an expected duration when your booking is confirmed.
Do not change medication unless a qualified clinician has instructed you to do so. Follow the specific preparation instructions supplied by the clinic.
Referrers should clearly mark clinical urgency and contact the clinic directly when prompt review is needed. Website forms are not monitored for emergencies.
If you experience severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden collapse, or any other medical emergency, call Triple Zero (000) immediately. Do not wait for an online response.
